Latest Fallout 76 Patch, Update 16, Has Another Huge Flaw: It Breaks The Legendary Armor Within The Game

Bethesda just can’t catch a break. It seems the studio has continuously found problems with its latest game, Fallout 76. By that, we mean their players find the problems. The developers just end up creating them. Latest Fallout 76 Patch, Update 16, Has Another Huge Flaw: It Breaks The Legendary Armor Within The Game.

This time the problem has to do with Legendary armor sets within the game. It seems that under certain circumstances, reloading your weapon in-game will cause Legendary armor to break. The bug was first noticed in a YouTube video by Jas Thompson. In the video, the player, who is wearing legendary armor with defensive stats equaling up to 519, reloads their weapon. Immediately after, the armor’s defense drops all the way down to 414.

The video eventually made its way to Reddit, where a group of gamers started playing with the bug. It turns out that it doesn’t happen to all Legendary armor sets within the game. And it doesn’t happen every time either.

So far, nobody has been able to figure out the precise conditions for what triggers the bug. But it definitely happened after the latest patch for the game came out, update 16. The only thing that’s clear now is that sometimes reloading can damage certain legendary armor sets.

On its own, this bug probably wouldn’t be that big of a deal, even if it is rather annoying. Games have bugs. This is just something everyone has come to expect. And yet, on the other hand, with the history of Bethesda’s problems and the timing of this weekend’s Halloween redux, this bug looks extremely bad. (Bethesda is redoing the Halloween event this month because last time it was available, the event ended up ending earlier than expected. Bugs, bugs, bugs.)

Fallout 76 has been having difficulties ever since its initial release. The first warning sign was the flimsy plastic bags that came out with the pre-ordered special edition of the game. The flimsy plastic didn’t match the depiction of the canvas bag pictured in screenshots and the original trailers for the special edition. Bethesda eventually had to offer a refund or a new bag to those unlucky gamers who had purchased the collector’s edition.

What’s strange about Fallout 76 is that it is a neverending cautionary tale on the dangers of rushing projects to completion. At some point, you’d expect things to balance out and get back to normal. But for Fallout 76, this never seems to be the case. Developers beware! If you push something out too early, you’ll never stop playing catch-up.

Freddy In Space 2 Is A New FNAF Spin-Off That’s Completely Free At The Moment; Donations Are Welcomed For Charity

There is now another spin-off of the series called Freddy in Space 2. It was created by Scott Cawthon and is currently free on the Gamejolt platform. The reason behind this game is quite inspiring. You see, Scott took the liberty to create this unique spin-off for a St. Jude charity stream, which was hosted by Game Theory on December 3. The game is completely free, but donations are welcomed to help those in need.
It’s always great seeing a creator do something selfless and for the greater good of humanity. More developers could certainly follow suit. Now back to the game. Although it’s not heavily inspired by horror elements, Freddy in Space 2 is a pretty addicting platformer. It features everyone’s favorite bear, Freddy. He’s on a deep space mission when he suddenly realizes his central computer system has been taken over by a villainous AI referred to as L.O.L.Z.H.A.X.
This computer AI has brainwashed Freddy’s friends and even captured his son, who is running low on oxygen. It will be up to your quick-thinking to defeat this computer AI, reverse the brain-washing effects on your friends, and save your son from a grave fate. Freddy In Space 2 Is A New FNAF Spin-Off That's Completely Free At The Moment; Donations Are Welcomed For Charity.
As far as this game’s mechanics, platforming will be primarily what you’re doing. Freddy has a bevy of weapons he can use to defeat enemies that get in his way. Judging by some of the game’s screenshots, there appears to be plenty of bosses Freddy will go toe to toe with. That’s always what you want in a platformer like this. It gives you anticipation for every stage passed.
The visuals have a 2D cartoonish vibe, but they instantly give Freddy in Space 2 a charm that you don’t often see today. Judging by early community feedback, people are loving what Scott Cawthon was able to achieve. Again, it’s completely free to play right now. Donations are always welcomed, though. They’re for a good cause and even the smallest amount will help in the long run.
If you enjoy the FNAF series, then this platformer is another great spin-off to check out.

Taylor Swift Wrote a Christmas Song Over the Weekend and It’s Coming Out Tonight

It’s the stuff of legends! A little girl who grew up on a Christmas tree farm in Pennsylvania just wanted to be a star. Now, Taylor Swift is all grown up and releasing a holiday song dedicated to her home. The singer announced her surprise track with a video featuring her cats: Meredith, Benjamin, and Olivia. “I know this is pretty wild but I’ve just written a Christmas song,” Swift vlogs. “I feel like it’s weird to wait a year to put it out. So, I don’t know what to do.” All three were more interested in relaxing than making executive decisions about Taylor Swift’s music career. “When in doubt, ask the itty bitty pretty kitty committee,” she wrote in the video’s caption, along with the hashtag #ChristmasTreeFarm. “When they shun you with silence, ambivalence, and judgmental brush offs … just put the song out anyway.”

According to Good Morning America, Taylor Swift wrote the song over the weekend, presumably while eating Thanksgiving leftovers straight out of the containers (since that’s what the rest of us were doing), and she turned it around in less than a week. The new song and music video, which is made up of home videos, will premiere tonight at midnight. It’s Swift’s first-holiday release since 2007’s The Taylor Swift Holiday Collection. Taylor Swift Announces New Christmas Song And Video Are Coming Soon And, of course, since the titular track off her latest album, Lover. (“We can leave the Christmas lights up ’til January?” The song “Lover” is a holiday track and we won’t be debating it.) Swift has so much to celebrate this season, including her birthday next week and the news yesterday that her Netflix documentary, Taylor Swift: Miss Americana, will be debuting on the opening night of the Sundance Film Festival. Tonight, she’s spreading the joy.

“When in doubt, ask the itty bitty pretty kitty committee. When they shun you with silence, ambivalence, and judgmental brush offs, just put the song out anyway. NEW XMAS SONG AND VIDEO (made from home videos) OUT TONIGHT,” the 29-year-old expressed.

Fans quickly noticed the singer used the hashtag, #ChristmasTreeFarm, sparking speculation Swift also revealed the name of her new song. The singer has made no secret of her love for the holiday season, thanks to growing up on a tree farm. It helped her develop a special appreciation for the magical time of year.
